Medical Skin Needling

I had read a lot about medical needling and after due diligence I chose Assure Medispa to perform a series of 3 medical skin needlings on my face.

20 minutes prior to commencing the initial treatment, a local anaesthetic cream was applied to my face making the procedure, although uncomfortable, relatively painless. I had been advised thar for a day or two after the needling a small degree of redness and some discomfort was to be expected. However, immediately after the treatment my face was very red, swollen and moderate bruising was apparent.

36 hours after the treatment my face was monstrous - very swollen, bruised, contused, brick red and painful. I rang Assure to express my anxiety and was requested to come in asap for a check up. After careful examination of my face, a care plan was offered, commenced and performed with outstanding care and concern. Today, 2 weeks after the needling, my face is soft and glowing.

I have been impressed by the level of competence and the kindness shown to my be all staff, expecially Maryann, to ensure this successful outcome; so much so that I have maintained my second needling appointment secure in the knowledge that I am in safe and capable hands.
